LX Miss Nizhoni 264
One of the great cows of the breed. After many flushes, 264 got ruined.
She is the dam of WNH Optimum 9230 ET, one of the top milk bulls in the
breed. We have two daughters, 829 and 9244, and several granddaughters
still in our herd. Her 1997 ET calf, 9705, was our best bull in 1997.
That was the last embryo we had out of her. She was always a trouble
free cow that performed well on the dry and sparse rangeland of New Mexico,
on irrigated pasture in Colorado, and on the wetlands of coastal Washington.
She never had any foot, hoof or leg problems, and her feet never needed
trimming. Her teats remained small even when she was 14 years old.
Before she was flushed, she had a calving interval of 359 days.
