Easy Producer means live calves on the ground, cows that milk, calves that grow and carcasses that weigh, yield and marble. His first set of calves in several herds have proven that he is indeed an easy calver, reflected in his low birth weight EPD. But his calves are also vigorous and strong at birth, and they survive in the toughest of conditions. It looks like his calves will be the heaviest muscled and easiest doing of any bull with a negative birth weight that we know about.

We have enrolled Easy Producer in the AHA National Carcass Testing Program as a Reference Sire.  He has been used in three herds already, but it will be 2001 before that data is complete and meaningful.  We expect Easy Producer to soon become recognized as one of the most copmplete Total Performance Sires in the breed.
