9920 is a thick, heavy muscled, and correct calf.  He has a tremendous topline and is very smooth from end to end.  He is a 6.3 frame.  His dam, 710, was one of the nicest-made and best-uddered cows we have ever produced.  She was easy doing and without flaws.  She is also the dam of WNH Easy Producer 9517, a reference sire on the National Carcass Testing Program.   And she is the dam of one of the top donor cows at Star Lake, WNH Optima 9633.   We have two 1999 ET bull calves out of 710 that were both born on the same day but are out of different sires.  They are very similar in type and performance.  The other one, 9919, had the top weaning weight of all our calves born in the January through April period, and 9920 had the second highest weaning weight in that group.

While 9919 was shown and placed second in class at Denver, 9920 was put on the Oregon Hereford Bull Test at the Wolfe Feedlot.  We had planned on using 9920 in a pen of four at Denver with 9915, 9919, and 9925, but we decided against it because of a lack of good help.

9920 has some excellent carcass data as measured by ultra sound:
