WNH Decathlete 9915
9915 is a very correct and high performing calf.  He has pigmentation around one eye and partial on the other eye.  His dam is one of our best young cows.  To learn more about his dam, click here.  His dam, 9615, had one of our best calves in 1998, 9812, and also has one of our best calves in 2000.  The pedigree of 9915 combines MSU Optimum Z03 with two low birthweight bulls, Feltons 517 and Network.  Optimum has proven to nick well with both of these bulls.   9915 ratioed 106 for weaning weight in our herd.

Superior Total Performance on Oregon Bull Test:

He was put on the Bull Test at Bryan Wolfe's Bull Development Center at Hermiston, OR.  Out of 40+ PH bulls on test, he had an ADG of 3.95 and a WDA of 3.56, weighing 1218 lbs. at 11 months of age.  3 of the top 4 indexing bulls on test were by Decathlete.  Decathlete's sons also dramatically stood out in muscling as measured by ultrasound ribeye data.  9915' s ratios, compared to 42 bulls on test, show just how much of a total performance and carcass package this bull is:
