WNH L4 MS NIZHONI 9913 5/2001

9913 is an exceptional young horned heifer calf.  Her dam was purchased at the Oregon Hereford Ranch Dispersal Sale, and she was one of the better two year olds in the sale.  With a 75 lbs. birthweight, 9913, had a 99 ratio for WW in our herd, and this is not yet reflected in her dam's milk EPD.  Her dam's first calf was a black baldy and that calf did not count toward her milk EPD, but she has good milk production and that will eventually show up in her milk EPD.  9913 has shown herself to be one of our strongest milking heifers, demonstrated about how rapidly her first calf is growing.

9913's first calf, 0118, had an adjusted 205 day weight of 663 in our herd with no creep feed.  This calf was only 4 lbs off having our highest adjusted weaning weight.  The calf will go to the WSU/WCA bull test at Prosser.

9113 is very thick and is a great producer.  Likely 4+ months pregnant to WNH Stockmaster 9925.  She has missed our preg checks, so she will be done at the Sale.
