9708 was named 1997-98 Show Heifer of the Year by the AHA for the West Coast during which time she won both the honors listed above.In 1998, 9708 was yearling champion heifer at both the Oregon and California State Fairs, and Reserve Intermediate Champion Heifer at the Reno Nugget National. 9708 was second in class to the National Grand Champion Heifer at Denver in 1999. She is bred somewhat similar to 9704.
9708 had her first calf in mid-May of 1999. She has lots of milk for her attractive heifer calf. They could show again as a cow/calf pair. She is in the top 3% of the breed for four traits!
She is bred for an early December calf by Headliner.
