9705 was Yearling Champion Bull at the Nugget National in Reno, winning the largest class of older bulls. He is one of the thickest and deepest bodied bulls anywhere. He has pigmentation completely around both eyes and on the scrotum. He also has huge, well-shaped testicles that hang perfectly. He is without structural flaws. Even though his PE BW EPD is a little high, we were confident enough that his birthweights would be light to moderate that we bred him to a number of our heifers. His 1999 calf crop averaged 85.2 lbs at birth. He has been our primary natural service sire the last two years. In December of 1999, WNH Ms Optima 9401 was flushed to 9705.
9705 was also Reserve Grand Champion Performance Bull at the California State Fair. 9705 is a full brother of 9230, 9527 and 9406. He may well turn out to be our best son ever by MSU Optimum Z03.
