9230 was the first bull calf produced by MSU Optimum Z03. He was also the first ET calf born on our ranch. 1/2 interest and full possession of 9230 was sold to World Genetics, Albury, Australia. He died of unknown causes while being exported to Australia. He left us only about 75 straws of semen of which there are about 15 left. His daughters have turned out to be superb cows.
At the Northwest Bull Test in Idaho, 9230 was the 3rd highest gaining Hereford bull on test out of over 200 Herreford bulls on test. He is an outstanding bull for both milk and growth. Recently a son in Australia was the top growth bull on the continent.
He is the best white cutter of all the Optimum sons we have produced.
He leaves very little white on his calves.
