MSU ADVANCE OPTIMA 34H
This is one of the best 1998 heifers born in the entire breed. She combines one of the best, if not the best, polled cow with one of the best horned bulls in the breed, 9012Y. 34H is a maternal sib to 5F, Elixir, Fortress, Decathlete, Headliner and Headmaster. And she looks the part. She was a class winner at the National Genetic Focus Show, and she placed third in class at the National Western, just behind another daughter of 9401 and a daughter of 9312. In that class of 17, the top three heifers were all out of cows bred by WNH - all daughters of MSU Optimum Z03. The judge said that if he were taking one home out of that class, 34H is the one he would probably take home.
At the 2000 National Western, 34H placed second to the National Grand
Champion Heifer, sired by Decathlete, her maternal brother. Placing
third in the same class was Optima 23H, the 1999 National Reserve Grand
Champion, and 34H's maternal sister
