KFF Total with Dam

At the Klippenstein Family Farm Sale on October 25, 1998, KFF Total sold 1/4 interest and 1/2 possession for $50,000.  KFF Total is a 1/22/98 son of Decthlete out of a two-year-old heifer, KFF Perfect Miss.  Glen Klippenstein described this calf as the best bull calf he had ever produced in 30 years in the business.  Glen said the bull will be used extensively world wide and that this calf has the potential to be totally dominant.  Jim Reed described the calf as “truly awesome”.

KFF Total placed second in Denver to MSU STAR Headliner, a full sib of his sire, Decathlete. Headliner went on to become Reserve National Grand Champion at Denver.  He was also Reserve National Grand Champion in Canada.  At the top, this was the strongest bull class in the entire show.  Placing third in this class was LLL Nuff Said 45H, a very promising package that we intend to use some in our program.

Decathlete calves are winning shows and leading sales all over the country.  He sires unparalled quality and performance in both his heifer calves and his bull calves.  He is out of the Mating of the Decade!  See Milestones.

A full sib to Decathlete, Headmaster, sold 1/4 interest for $20,000 in the Star Lake sale just a week earlier.  A maternal half sib brought $12,500 for 1/2 in the MSU sale the day before the Klippenstein sale.  Another maternal half sib brought $5,400 for 1/2 interest in the same sale.  In an 8 day span in the three sales above, Decathlete and his Dam, WNH Ms Optima 9401, produced over $125,000 in sales of their calves.  In sales of interests in her calves and in sales of semen and certificates on her bull calves as of October, 1998, 9401 had produced $206,000 in sales.  She will be five years old in Decmber of 1998.  More information is available on her and her calves by clicking here:  WNH Ms Optima 9401.
